Groundwater Partners (GWP) is a small consulting firm specializing in groundwater resources, and soil and groundwater environmental investigations, remediation and construction projects throughout the Western and Southwestern United States.
We are currently hiring for a site near Needles, CA. Our field office will be located near Pirate’s Cove Marina and Resort.
Full-time Field Liaison (5-8 positions available)
Hours: Can vary. 7:15AM – 4:00PM M-F and possibility for one weekend a month
We are looking for organized individuals with excellent people skills. The work includes time outdoors in the elements (must do well in heat). Must be diplomatic and personable. You will be responsible for managing the movement of people and equipment on a daily basis.
You will act as the liaison between stakeholders in the project and construction crews on site. Stakeholders include members of local Native American tribes, representatives from regulatory agencies, and client field scientists.
Job duties include:
Main point of contact for visiting stakeholders
Working closely with Field Foreman and Field Liaison Manager
Attending preliminary site training orientation
Attending daily morning meeting with GWP crew
Daily driving of stakeholders to pre-determined field locations in company vehicle
Setting up and breaking down observation sites daily (tables, chairs, shade structures, water)
Maintaining a daily visitor log
Must have / be able to:
Valid drivers license
Clean driving record
Valid Social Security number
Pass a drug and alcohol screening
Fit for time outdoors in desert environment (able to hike short distances carrying equipment)
