We're working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Watford that places a strong emphasis on high-quality teaching and a supportive, welcoming ethos. The school is now looking for a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term basis. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT, this role offers the chance to make a real impact in a forward-thinking and caring school.

The Role:
As a KS2 Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering creative and effective lessons that cater to a range of abilities. You'll foster a positive classroom culture, uphold high expectations, and work as part of a cohesive team to ensure consistency and progress across the year group.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all pupils

Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to support learning

Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning

Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and year group initiatives

Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil development

Participate actively in school life, from meetings to wider enrichment activities

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Prior experience teaching in Key Stage 2

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and how to make it engaging

Confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management skills

A motivated, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
