We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's friendly and growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who enjoys working accurately, supporting colleagues, and keeping processes running smoothly.

The Role

  • Process supplier invoices and employee expenses accurately and within deadlines.
  • Prepare weekly payment runs and handle occasional urgent payments.
  • Monitor the shared finance inbox and resolve supplier and internal queries.
  • Carry out daily bank reconciliations and post transactions.
  • Review aged creditors and support month-end activities.
  • Maintain the expense system and assist staff with queries.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and controls.
