As Nursery Room Leader, you’ll guide practice on the floor, support your team, and ensure every child receives attentive, high-quality care.

Before You Apply

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• You must have experience leading or deputising within a nursery room.
• This role is not suitable for practitioners without senior room responsibility.

What You’ll Need

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working with babies in a nursery setting (desirable)
• Experience leading a nursery room
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, particularly birth to two development

What You’ll Do

• Lead the daily running of the Baby Room
• Oversee care routines including feeding, sleeping, and nappy changing
• Plan and implement sensory-based activities aligned with EYFS
• Monitor observations and early development milestones
• Supervise and support practitioners within the room
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and ratio compliance
• Build professional relationships with parents regarding routines and progress
