Ambitek are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HDPE Pipefitter / Fusion Welder to join an ongoing project in Northwich, supporting the redevelopment of a disused Biomass Plant.

Location: Northwich, Cheshire
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3-week trial (with potential for 3-6 months ongoing work)

Role Overview

This position will focus on the installation and on-site fusion welding of HDPE pipework, working on straight runs installed mainly on pipe bridges.

Day-to-Day Duties

Installation of HDPE pipework on site

*

Fusion welding HDPE lines ranging from 1” up to 10”

*

Working safely and efficiently to site requirements

*

Use of HDPE fusion welding machines and associated equipment

Requirements

*

Proven experience in HDPE fusion welding (essential)

*

Confident using HDPE fusion welding machines

*

Valid SCATTS or CSCS or CCNSG or EMSS card (required)

Working Hours

*

07:30 - 16:00

*

Some Saturday overtime available
