About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils across the school - from whole-class settings to small group interventions and one-to-one sessions. This is an ideal position for someone enthusiastic, nurturing, and eager to grow in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and reaching their full potential

Support the class teacher with lesson planning and classroom organisation

Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social development

Help create an inclusive, stimulating learning environment

Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs, where appropriate

Maintain classroom resources, displays, and learning areas

Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Who We're Looking For

Experience working with children (in school, tutoring, childcare, or similar roles)

A calm, friendly, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A keen interest in child development and education

Willingness to learn and take part in ongoing training

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
