Here at Hope House we’re looking for an IT Support Officer to join our team in Oswestry .
You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary of £19,555 - £26,658 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

Hope House Children’s Hospices want to be there for every child and family and we are driven by the belief that no one should face the death of a child alone.
As a leading charity for children, young people, and their families, we provide clinical, practical, and emotional support, putting the children and families at the heart of everything we do.
We are seeking an IT Support Officer who wants to use their expertise and integrity to help Hope House support every child and family that needs us.
Your role as IT Support Officer will be to provide effective support throughout the organisation, ensuring staff and service users have access to appropriate technology and that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
You will maintain the register of ICT assets, help to acquire and configure new equipment and provide training and support on its use and on the use of key databases and software.
Your customer service, approachability and flexibility will be at least as important to your success as your technical knowledge and skills.
Though based at Hope House near Oswestry, you will be supporting staff and service users throughout the organisation.
You will be flexible in your approach to working hours and times and be comfortable to travel around Shropshire, Cheshire and especially to support Ty Gobaith, our hospice in Conwy, North Wales.
What we’re looking for in our IT Support Officer: - Ability to set up, support and carry out appropriate minor repairs on a range of ICT equipment - Service excellence, with the motivation to help staff and service users - Ability to provide effective technical assistance and troubleshoot issues - Communication skills that allow demonstration and explanation of ICT equipment, software and databases to non-technical users - Interpersonal skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships - Analytical skills to investigate problems and provide effective solutions - Planning and organising to complete tasks to required deadlines What we’re offering our IT Support Officer : In return for your commitment, we offer a great reward package, which includes generous annual leave entitlement and pension scheme and a staff rewards programme, as well as flexible working arrangements and great development opportunities.
