Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting our longstanding client in their search for a Compex Electrician

Our client is a leading manufacturer and producer of hydrogen fuel and power units and they have recently commissioned a new flagship facility based at High Marnham Power station.

Key responsibilities:

* Installation: Install electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and hydrogen production equipment (electrolysers, compressors) per technical drawings.

* Testing: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems using testing instruments.

* Commissioning: Ensure systems meet operational and industry standards, completing documentation.

* Supervision: Oversee electrical fitters and subcontractors.

* Maintenance: Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical systems and hydrogen equipment.

* Compliance: Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

* Documentation: Maintain records, create material lists, and support electrical system design.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning is required.

* Strong technical skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Proficiency in using electrical testing instruments and tools.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Relevant electrical certifications (e.g. City and Guilds installation level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation).

* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is required.

* Full UK driving licence

* CompEx Ex01-Ex04 certified
