About the Role: Joining a highly skilled inspection team, you will primarily operate CMM equipment to carry out precision measurements, alongside manual inspection tasks using a range of hand tools. This role offers a real opportunity to be hands-on with state-of-the-art machinery and software.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate CMM machines (Mitutoyo and Hexagon models) using PC-DMIS and Cosmos software.

* Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring compliance with stringent customer and internal specifications.

* Interpret detailed technical drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

* Use handheld measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and plug gauges to verify critical dimensions.

* Support CNC machining activities where necessary.

* Maintain high standards of record-keeping and ensure equipment remains within calibration.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Previous experience working within a precision manufacturing environment is essential.

* Confident using both manual and automated inspection techniques.

* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.

* Background high-tolerance sectors would be highly advantageous.

* Good IT skills, especially for reporting and recording inspection results.

* A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
