Job Description

NOTE: This is a night shift position.

Monday: 16:00 - 2:00 [9 hours]
Tuesday: 16:00 - 2:00 [9 hours]
Wednesday: 15:00 - 00:00 (midnight) [8 hours]
Thursday: 15:00 - 00:00 (midnight) [8 hours]
Friday: 15:00 - 00:00 (midnight) [8 hours]

Total: 40 Hours Regular | 2 Hours OT


Essential Duties:
•Maintain and troubleshoot all technology components specific to the business at the local seaport terminals, such as TOS interfaces, OCR systems, Gate Management systems, RFID systems, etc.
•Maintain the local technology infrastructure including the administration of switches, bridges, routers, servers, wireless infrastructure, phone systems, et al.
•Remotely administrate over Microsoft based systems and services through use of the RSAT (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy/etc.)
•Provide assistance to end user applications (Microsoft Office/Internet Explorer/Java/Chrome/Custom Applications/etc.)
•Deploy software updates to custom applications both on servers and end user machines
•Respond to , resolve, and document IT Service Desk incidents
•Comply with Corporate Safety and IT policies and procedures
•Ensure that the facilities, such as UPS and A/C, are working properly in all data centers
•Interface with various vendors in the implementation and troubleshooting of this specific equipment
•Track and maintain all local IT assets
•Create new and update existing IT documentation
•Coordinate and schedule IT projects locally to minimize impact to the business
•Respond to after-hours automated alerts that require onsite attention (when necessary)
**you will need to qualify for an Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
