We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Night Shift Planner/Co-ordinator to join a dynamic and expanding 24/7 operations team based near LHR. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for transport operations and logistics planning to play a vital role within a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

• Act as the primary point of contact during the night shift for internal teams, drivers, and external partners.
• Develop, coordinate, and adjust transport and freight plans for both the current and following day.
• Monitor and respond to service changes, ensuring timely problem-solving and resolution of issues.
• Provide a detailed and comprehensive handover to the incoming Day Shift Supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with a large team of drivers to ensure smooth operations and performance delivery.
• Collaborate with international customers and partners to coordinate freight and logistical arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and customs procedures, particularly in relation to airfreight and EU–UK movements.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction throughout all operations.
• Record and report operational incidents and maintain shift logs.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transport planning
• Sound understanding of UK and EU driver regulations and transport legislation.
• Knowledge of EU–UK customs and ETSF procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in planning and execution.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe.

Preferred:

• 2 years' experience with air cargo operations and managing HGV drivers.
• Smart and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
