Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Teaching Assistant (Secondary) to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, including those with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will be vital in providing personalised support, boosting academic performance, and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students who need academic boosts or have mild SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in managing the classroom environment and delivering lessons.
• Support students in understanding and completing tasks, promoting independent learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Monitor and report student progress to the class teacher.

Working Hours:

• Part-time position (3 days per week, negotiable).
Start Date: 01/09/2025.
