Salary: £25000 - £30000/annum salary up to £30k

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of homewares, is looking for an experienced E-Commerce Executive to join their team. This newly created role will be to manage their eCommerce website, as well take part in launching an additional international website online, whilst contributing to commercial success through the creation of market specific content.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Support and help to develop channel marketing plans for acquisition and retention, and to improve brand presentation and conversion rate optimisation across North America
• Research, recommend and implement functionality, optimising performance and user experience
• Invest and optimise in digital marketing activities to build awareness, increase acquisition traffic to the website including affiliates, PPC, SEO, display and referral programs
• Be an expert on PPC and SEO, advise on improvements to optimise and improve performance
• Work with PPC and SEO agencies to ensure content follows brand guidelines and tone of voice, and effectively targets relevant audiences
• Create online promotions, update pricing and merchandise products to optimise sales
• Keep up to date with locally observed holidays and awareness days
• Budgeting and forecasting to maximise and drive efficiency of spend and website performance in terms of sales and profitability
• Manage the remarketing performance through various media owners and tactics, e.g. Google, Fresh Relevance etc. Identify and implement improvements, working with the Social Media lead
• Use relevant tools to identify friction points in the user journey and implement improvements
• Identify and implement new opportunities for digital growth, conversion rate optimisation, and retention and engagement strategies
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide reasons for adoption where appropriate
• Work alongside other departments on specific projects to deliver a multi-channel approach
• Continuous review of activity of the online channel and all campaigns, measuring and reporting weekly performance against forecast


• The ideal candidate will have experience in Digital Marketing and eCommerce within the consumer goods sector, along with an understanding of the US and Canadian markets.
• You will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering sustainable, profitable growth without large budgets, will have experience of SEO and PPC strategies and tactics as well as having a creative eye and copywriting and photoshop skills.


• 38.75 hours per week, hybrid role with a mix of office and remote working - applications are welcomed from candidates within a commutable distance.
