Installation / Commissioning Engineer (Automation Products)

Southampton

Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for an Installation / Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Southampton. The Installation / Commissioning Engineer will report to the Lead Installation / Commissioning Engineer and responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

Responsibilities include:

·Pre-Contract Site Surveys

·Installation of Control panels and equipment such as:

oRetro-fitting existing panels.

oInstallation of new wall mount panels.

oInstallation of full MCC systems, including both power and ICA sections.

oInstallation of LVDB systems.

·There is also a limited requirement for the following commissioning activities (non-exhaustive):

oSetup of VSD / signal isolators / timers etc.

oSetup of Flow meters / pressure sensors / temperature sensors etc.

·Modification of control panels, including power, starter and ICA type modifications.

·Creation of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Site Progress Reports and other paperwork

·Experience of telemetry outstations such as the Serck PX24, Schneider Talus T4e & Seprol S2000 would be ideal, but not essential.

Skills / Background:

·A background in working in industrial electrical installations / assembly.

·Experience of working as an Electrical installation technician / engineer.

·NVQ Level 3 or above in electrical installation.

·ECS card (or equivalent).

·12 months or more experience of working in industrial installations.

·Onsite Fault Finding and Modification of Electrical Control Systems.

·Client facing with excellent interpersonal skills.

·Hard working and self-motivated.
