Job Title: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

Overview

A national building services provider is recruiting an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning / Building Services Engineer to cover commercial contracts across West and Central London.

This role is primarily focused on air conditioning service and maintenance within high-end commercial environments.

Role & Responsibilities

*

75% Air Conditioning service and maintenance, 25% general building services maintenance

*

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works

*

Fault finding, diagnostics and system repairs

*

Leak detection and repair

*

Compressor and component replacement

*

Maintenance of splits, multis, VRV/VRF systems

*

Occasional minor AC installations

*

Associated HVAC plant maintenance

*

Some exposure to chillers and refrigeration (beneficial but not essential)

Client portfolio includes commercial office buildings, high-end residential developments, hotels and leisure facilities.

Requirements

*

Minimum 5 years' experience in Air Conditioning / HVAC maintenance

*

F-Gas 2079 Category 1 (essential)

*

NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration (essential)

*

Electrical qualifications such as C&G 2330 / 2365 Level 2 or 18th Edition (beneficial)

*

Strong commercial HVAC plant knowledge (not domestic)

*

Experience with major manufacturers including Mitsubishi and Daikin

*

Presentable, professional and client-facing

*

Strong communication skills

*

Ideally based in West London

Salary & Benefits

£52,000+ basic (dependent on experience)

40-hour week with early finish on Fridays

*

Overtime paid at time and a half and double time

*

Minimum 4 hours paid per call-out at overtime rate

*

Standby allowance (1 in 8 rota)

25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
