Working Pattern: 9-Day Fortnight, hybrid working model

Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer to join an established engineering team delivering complex projects in highly regulated environments. This is a key role within a multi-disciplinary team where you will contribute your HVAC expertise across a variety of high-profile technical projects.

Candidates must currently hold minimum SC clearance to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the design of HVAC systems including ductwork, ventilation, and piping layouts

Produce and review engineering drawings such as schematics, equipment layouts, and process flow diagrams

Complete HVAC design calculations including load assessments, duct/pipe sizing, and airflow analysis

Prepare technical documentation including risk assessments, technical specifications, substantiation reports, installation plans, and O&M manuals

Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery

Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, internal quality standards, and safety requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

Proven experience in HVAC design and project delivery

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices

Ability to produce structured technical documentation and reports

Experience leading small teams or engineering work packages

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
