Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000neg + profit share bonus

The role of the R&D Chemist - Mortar, Screed & Cement Products will involve:

* R&D Chemist position, dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render

* Supporting in the development of both new and existing products and formulations

* Researching and testing new raw materials and building strong relationships with suppliers

* Generate Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software (training provided)

* Supporting in Quality Control (QC) testing when required

* Support in troubleshooting production issues

The ideal applicant will be R&D Chemist - Mortar, Screed & Cement Products with:

* Must have R&D experience and be familiar with producing formulations

* Must have experience dealing with related products such as; cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins

* Familiar with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards

* Ideally will be degree level educated in chemistry or related field

* Positive, energetic and confident individual

* Driven, organised and personable
