Howards are seeking a site engineer to join the team on a new project in Keighley experience with reinforced concrete frames is essential. The overall project consists of foundations, drainage, retaining walls, RC structures and external works on a new hospital facility with a programme of 27 weeks.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Set out works in accordance with drawings and specifications

* Use total stations, GPS, and levelling equipment

* Check line, level, and dimensions of structures

* Support structural analysis and calculations

* Interpret blueprints, technical documents, and construction plans to understand project requirements and constraints.

* Accompany project teams to construction sites to observe construction activities

* conduct site surveys, measurements, and inspections to assess project progress and compliance with specifications.

* Identify potential construction issues and safety hazards

* Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and meeting minutes in accordance with established guidelines.

* Maintain accurate records of project-related correspondence, drawings, and other documentation.

* Prioritize safety and adhere to established safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

* HND in Civil Engineering Level 4 or above.

* Valid CSCS card (qualified persons).

* SMSTS / SSSTS.

* Experience in RC Frames, drainage and retaining walls.

* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction methodologies.

* Knowledge and experience of setting out equipment.

* At least 5 years in similar role

* Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards
