Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £25000 - £30000/annum

A fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing engineering business in Guildford.

As the Purchasing Administrator you will:

* Liaise closely with the manufacturing manager, stores manager and sales co-ordinator regarding purchasing requirements

* Work closely with the technical purchasing executive and provide administrator support where required

* Research and identify suppliers for ad-hoc stock requirements

* Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers

* Check purchase invoices and ensure supplier invoices are progressed for authorisation

* Process invoices received from suppliers and raise queries if needed

* Review outstanding stock and non-stock purchase orders to ensure timely delivery

* Manage subcontractor fee issue spreadsheets

The ideal Purchasing Administrator will be:

* A competent user of CRM or ERP systems

* Competent with MS Office, particularly Excel at an intermediate to advanced level

* Detail orientated with a high degree of analytical and organisational skills

* Experienced in purchasing administration, supplier negotiation and forecasting for stock management

* Flexible with their approach to team work and have willingness to cross train in other key administration functions

* Able to communicate well with a good standard of spoken and written English with sound numerical skills
