Building Services Engineer

Location: City of Westminster, London
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for a Building Services Engineer to join the on-site engineering team in Westminster, for a commercial building with various modern M&E and building systems.

This role suits a strong, hands-on M&E engineer with an electrical bias or a mechanically qualified engineer who is genuinely multi-skilled and comfortable working in a large, live environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across the facilities, ensuring all systems remain fully operational, compliant, and safe.

Key responsibilities include:

* Maintenance and fault-finding on M&E building services systems

* Electrical works including lighting, small power, and compliance testing

* Mechanical plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, plumbing, and water systems

* Carrying out PPM schedules and responding to reactive issues

* Supporting statutory and compliance requirements

* Working within a customer-facing, high-footfall environment

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

* Electrical bias with Level 3 qualification, or Mechanical Level 2 qualification with proven multi-skilled experience

* Background in commercial building services, retail, or large estates

* Strong fault-finding ability across electrical and mechanical systems

* A professional, safety-conscious approach to shift work
