The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Store Manager to join a busy team in Glasgow City Centre. This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and retail management experience.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a team of 5-6 staff
- Conducting team meetings and delegating daily tasks
- Preparing and updating weekly staff rotas
- Handling payroll, sickness, holidays, and general HR issues
- Supporting staff with customer service and in-store queries
- Liaising with site managers to ensure smooth store operations
- Overseeing the overall performance and day-to-day running of the store
Requirements- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales (required)
- Proven retail management or supervisory experience
- Comfortable working full shift patterns and covering weekends
- Capable of working independently, including lone shifts
Shift Pattern- 4 or 5 days per week
- Must be available for the majority of Saturdays and peak trading periods
- Store hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
