Job Opportunity: Children’s Residential Deputy Manager – Warrington
Location: Warrington
Hours: 37 hours/week (rota basis, including sleep-ins)
Contract: 6–12 months (potential for permanent)
Pay: £17.75/hour
Enhancements:
- 20% uplift (Mon–Fri, 7pm–11pm)
- 30% uplift (Sat–Sun, 7pm–11pm)

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support the running of a 2-bed children’s home in Warrington. This is a rewarding opportunity to help shape a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma or disruption.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Registered Manager in daily operations
- Lead and supervise residential care staff
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards
- Promote a therapeutic, child-centred environment
- Participate in the rota, including sleep-ins and weekends
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Contribute to care planning and safeguarding
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Training:
- NVQ Level 3 in Care of Children & Young People or Diploma in Social Care
- Team Teach (or equivalent)
- First Aid & Fire Safety Certificates
- Full, clean driving licence
Experience & Skills:
- Residential childcare experience
- Staff supervision and team development
- Understanding of safeguarding and risk management
- Calm, reflective, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
