Salary: £120,000 - £140,000 per annum
Our client is a growing $100m cloud based business who is seeking to hire a Global Financial Controller. The role will report to the CFO based in the US and manage a team of 5 direct reports with an overall team of 10. This is a senior leadership position that will take full ownership of the accounting and reporting for the group. The role will suit an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified who has experience of managing multiple entities in multiple jurisdictions and whilst operating at a senior level is also happy to get stuck in and be hands on.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a geographically diverse business to support strategic growth initiatives while maintaining a strong governance framework
- Design and implement internal financial controls, policies, and procedures that support sustainable growth.
- Ensure global compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage and coordinate the statutory audits and taxation processes for each legal entity
- Maintain the integrity of the Group balance sheet ensuring compliance with Group policies and procedures
- Responsible for Bank compliance reporting and annual audit for financing purposes.
- Mentor, develop and grow a high-performing finance team (A/P, A/R, Payroll, Region Support).
- Effective cash flow management and forecasting across all entities.
- Lead and manage the preparation of internal financial statements, models, analysis and other reports that drive decision making and improve performance across the business .
- Manage SAP B1 accounting systems and Finance module of Kimble application (time recording and project accounting system) to ensure the proper, complete, and accurate record-keeping of accounting company transactions performed within Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Mange the Payroll process ensuring accuracy relating to changes and the submission of monthly payroll to payroll bureaus for processing.
- Support the HR team in all Finance related HR matters
- Manage and maintain Workers Compensation requirements (Australia)
- Maintain good corporate relations with customers, vendors, banking institutions, auditors, and others outside of the Company.
- Special projects as needed.
A salary of £120,000-£140,000 is on offer plus 20% bonus and benefits.
