Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the consultancy and site teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of design tasks
Review and assess design plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Provide technical advice and guidance to the project team on design-related issues
Monitor and report progress on design activities, highlighting any potential delays or issues
Coordinate and facilitate design meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are involved
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design briefs and reports
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and procedures
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards

Job Requirements

BSc/HND/HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
Significant experience in the Water sector, with a strong understanding of design
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Proven track record of coordinating design activities and ensuring buildability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen attention to detail
Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
