We are working with a growing independent firm of Accountants, assisting with their search for an Assistant Accountant to join their existing team in Cleckheaton.

This firm offer a range of services to their clients from audit, accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and more!

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Managing your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients.
Preparation of management accounts.
Supporting clients with making tax digital (MTD).
Preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Preparation of personal/corporate tax returns when required.
To qualify for this Accounts Assistant role, ideally you will meet the following:
AAT level 3 or 4 qualified or qualified by experience.
2+ years' Practice experience having worked as an Accounts Assistant or similar, in an accountancy firm.
Experience using Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Dext and Microsoft software would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills, feeling comfortable speaking with clients both in person and virtually.

Salary from £26,000 to £29,000
