Well established Concrete & Masonry construction company in Norcross/Duluth area seeking an Accountant.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred

  • 2+ years of public accounting or 5+ years construction industry experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - especially MS Excel

  • Experience with Sage 300 CRE Timberline or comparable software package

Key responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations for all bank accounts

  • Enter Inventory activity for stock issued to ongoing projects; monitor quantities on hand and valuation for accuracy

  • Preparation and submission of monthly Sales & Use tax returns

  • Analyses of general ledger accounts and preparation of journal entries

  • Maintenance of Fixed Assets records and related general ledger accounts

  • Monthly financial reporting for multiple entities

  • Other financial and operational analyses projects as assigned by CFO
