400kV Senior Authorised Person - Offshore wind - Onshore/Offshore substation - 2/2 rotation - All inclusive day rate, outside IR35 - May start date - 12 month (potentially up to 24 months)

Hunter Philips are partnered with a leading renewables company who are responsible for the Safety from the System on an offshore wind farm in construction in the UK. We are looking for a seasoned 400kV SAP to work on either the onshore or offshore substation. You must have a solid understanding of HV Safety from the system.

Key responsibilities:

* Preparing, writing and issuing switching schedules

* Preparing, issuing and cancelling safety documents and permits

* Switching on the 400kV network

* Acting as an interface with other 3rd parties

* Train up the junior SAPs, APs and CPs

* Liaising with the Control Room

* Reviewing the method statements

* Acting as Control Engineer as and when required

* Ensuring Safety from the System

Requirements:

* Completed a previous offshore wind farm

* Minimum 1 year as a 400kV SAP (preferably on a wind farm)

* Experience commissioning

* Basic protection testing is desired but not essential

* UK Citizenship

* Full clean driving license

* DNO/National Grid experience is desired but not essential

* Willingness to participate in a standby Rota
