The Opportunity:

My client is looking for a Financial Administrator to join their team in the Netherlands. This role is ideal for someone eager to manage debtor and creditor administration for various hotel brands and perform supporting administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the financial administration.
  • Receiving and processing incoming purchase invoices, and supervising intern activities if applicable.
  • Acting as the point of contact for suppliers regarding invoice queries.
  • Managing accounts receivable.
  • Sending, monitoring, and administratively processing sales invoices.
  • Following up with customers on outstanding invoices and addressing invoicing questions.
  • Processing bank statements.
  • Preparing payment proposals.
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with month-end procedures and documentation.
  • Adhering to internal company guidelines for financial administration.
  • Proposing improvements to methods and procedures to optimize service.
  • Participating and contributing to periodic work meetings.
  • Processing expenses.


  • Education at university level (Dutch equivalent for HBO).
  • Some experience with accounts payable/receivable.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Experience with financial software is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Must be currently based in the Netherlands, without visa requirements.
