Position: Teacher of Maths

Salary: MPS/UPS Inner London

Contract: 1 term intially (September 2025 - December 2025) - Full Time 

Smart Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving South London secondary school for a one-term contract starting September 2025.

The Role
We are looking for a well-qualified teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4 Mathematics. You will join a supportive and collaborative department with a strong track record of student achievement. The successful candidate will be committed to high expectations, excellent subject knowledge, and fostering a love of learning in all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.

Monitor, assess and report on student progress, providing appropriate challenge and support.

Contribute to departmental development and share best practice.

Engage in enrichment or intervention activities to support learning outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

QTS (or equivalent) with experience teaching Mathematics.

Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

The ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students of all abilities.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Contract Details:

Start Date: September 2025

Duration: 1 term (potential for extension)

Hours: Full-time
