The Role

Do you possess a bachelor's degree coupled with five or more years' proven work experience as a Sales Professional? Do you have strong current relationships selling construction services in the Power and Utility industry, or equivalent combination of related relevant experience? If so, we have a new challenge for you.

We are leading providers of total right-of-way access solutions, looking to appoint a VP of Sales to drive new sales and growth. You will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers in the Power and Utility industry.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting/ exceeding sales goals. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service to new and assigned client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Sales Executive include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively develop and manage key utility client accounts.
  • Develop and manage power transmission contractor client accounts within the same region.
  • Identify and contact potential clients through current relationships, cold calls and emails.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Consult with clients to identify needs and present appropriate YAK ACCESS products/services (access matting, civil, and environmental solutions).
  • Customize product solutions to build value and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build and grow long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up and manage meetings and calls with prospective clients.
  • Report to the Sr. Vice President of Sales on business development activities, opportunity pipelines and sales results (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Sales Executive -

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) to track sales activities.
  • Active use of MS Excel (analyzing & creating spreadsheets and charts).
  • Demonstrated use of sales performance metrics and data analytics to develop strategies and meet growth goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations.
