A supportive and inclusive school in Wokingham is looking for a Complex Needs Support Assistant to join them as soon as possible. This role focuses on supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and learning challenges.

As a Complex Needs Support Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support
Assist pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
Support communication and sensory needs
Help implement structured routines and personalised strategies
Work closely with teachers and specialist staff
Maintain a calm, safe, and engaging learning environmentThe ideal candidate will have experience working with children or vulnerable individuals and a genuine passion for supporting SEN. Knowledge of ASD and complex needs is highly advantageous.
