Fully Remote

£40,000 - £55,000 plus commission and car allowance

Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to lead growth in their Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) channel. This role blends business acquisition, relationship management, and commercial development, offering the opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving sustainable revenue by managing and enabling others, rather than generating it solely through direct sales. While commercial drive remains essential, success in this role comes from a long-term, partnership-focused mindset.

The Role

*

Manage a portfolio of 20-30 TPI partners across the UK.

*

Generate new business while nurturing and growing existing partnerships.

*

Attend around 8 in-person TPI meetings per month — nationwide travel required.

*

Develop and deliver strategies to grow revenue, improve live rates, and strengthen partner performance.

*

Support onboarding, training, compliance, and quality processes to maximise results.

*

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and commercial alignment.

*

Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and partner sessions.

Candidate Profile

*

Minimum of 1 year's experience working with TPI clients.

*

Background in energy, utilities, or a related sector.

*

Proven ability to manage partner performance to deliver sustained revenue growth.

*

Strong communication skills and experience influencing senior stakeholders.

*

Skilled presenter, confident at events and in face-to-face meetings.

*

Commercially astute with a strategic, solutions-focused approach.

*

Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.

*

Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
