Reliability Engineer

Hours: Monday to Friday Days based with flexibility
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Location: Banbury

An established and fast-paced FMCG manufacturing business is seeking a proactive and driven Reliability Engineer to join its engineering team on a days. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Reliability Engineer who wants to move beyond reactive maintenance and take ownership of a structured preventative maintenance and asset reliability programme. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, managing and executing a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance strategy to minimise downtime, extend asset life and optimise plant performance.

Responsibilities:

* Developing and executing proactive PPM schedules

* Identifying and implementing corrective actions taking part in continuous Improvement initiatives

* Conducting detailed inspections across mechanical, electrical and site services equipment

* Uploading and managing maintenance data within a CMMS

* Analysing performance data to improve reliability and reduce waste

* Coordinating spare parts and engineering stores

Requirements:

* HNC / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

* experience within FMCG or industrial manufacturing

* Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis capability

* Experience setting up or leading a PPM programme

* Continuous Improvement / Lean manufacturing experience beneficial

* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems

Commutable from parts of: Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire
