As the business continues to scale, they are seeking an additional T&C Supervisor to strengthen and elevate its training and competence framework across a growing adviser population.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Training & Competence, this remote-based role provides the flexibility to work from home while supporting advisers across the UK, with travel only when necessary. You will be responsible for ensuring all advisers are competent, confident, and delivering consistently high-quality advice.

You’ll act as a trusted partner to both advisers and leadership—combining technical expertise with strong coaching capability and a supportive, developmental approach.

Key Responsibilities

As T&C Supervisor, you will:

  • Conduct regular adviser assessments to maintain competence and regulatory compliance
  • Deliver high-quality training programmes to enhance skills and keep advisers up to date
  • Carry out observations of client interactions to ensure advice quality and adherence to standards
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive training and competence records
  • Provide constructive feedback and tailored coaching to support adviser growth
  • Review and update T&C policies in line with regulatory and industry developments
  • Partner with Compliance to resolve regulatory concerns and embed improvements
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports for senior management on T&C performance
  • Support internal and external audits with robust documentation and evidence
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes impacting training and competence

About You

You’ll be a credible T&C professional who blends technical rigour with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.

You will bring:

  • Level 4 Financial Advice qualification & Mortgage Advice qualification (essential)
  • Long Term Care & Lifetime Mortgage qualifications (desirable)
  • Experience in T&C supervision within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of T&C frameworks, FCA regulations, SM&CR and adviser oversight
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and feedback skills
  • Robust organisation, record-keeping and reporting abilities
  • Confidence analysing data and identifying trends
  • Experience with FCA and permissions applications
