- Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Pay: £80 per day
- Location: Chester
- Hours: Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm

- The role: What you'll be doing as an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Supporting and supervising learners with ASD, PDA, Global delay Disorder or Challenging Behaviour
- Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
- Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson
- Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
- Assist learners at break time with their lunch
- Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
- The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a Teaching Assistant
- At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries, or childcare settings - experience within an SEN setting would be beneficial
- Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
