SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools
Location: Rotherham
Availability: Minimum 3 days per week

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools in Rotherham, providing vital support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working closely with children, have a calm and understanding approach, and are committed to making a positive difference every day.

Your Role Will Include:

Providing tailored support for pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

Working one-to-one or in small groups to encourage learning, independence, and confidence

Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and classroom activities

Supporting children's emotional well being and social development

Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, whether in a school, care, youth work, nursery, or similar setting

A caring, patient, and proactive attitude

The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and pupils

A Teaching Assistant qualification is not required

Availability to work at least 3 days per week
