Registered Care Manager
Required for a beautiful care home in Fleet, Hampshire - which caters for the elderly registered with dementia with a friendly established team
Registered Care Manager Skills:
* NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
* Previous experience as Manager or a Deputy who is looking to progress
* High level of literacy, numeracy, administrative & computer skills together with well-developed communications skills both verbal and written
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC Compliance Standards
* Promoting and securing the homes reputation
* Liaise with building contractors
Registered Care Manager Duties include:
* Liaising with the CQC, social care, regulators and local authorities to ensure satisfactory standards are maintained and to drive further improvements.
* Providing overall effective leadership to the care, domestic, kitchen and maintenance staff and to ensure that all comply with local and national governance and the CQC.
* Recruiting, manage & retain staff
* Rota management and staff holidays
* Marketing the home ensuring good occupancy
* Delivering a high level of quality support to Service Users.
* Managing Health & Safety of the home.
* Organising regular supervision and appraisal meetings of all staff
* Ensuring that all Residents have an up-dated care plan, which is evaluated and audited monthly
* Ensuring staff training is up to date.
* On-call
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £43,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
