CNC Operator Setter

Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a CNC Operator Setter for our prestigious manufacturing client in the Chorley area.

Salary & Package

£34,632.00.

Overtime - Time & Half.  

Day Shift

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 & Friday 08:00 - 13:00.

37 Hours.

Required

Operate and set CNC milling machines.

Change CNC tools.

Work to tight tolerances.

Able to use micrometers and vernier callipers.

Read technical engineering drawings.

Able to work to specifications.

Manufacture specific components.

Perform calibration and quality inspection.

Hands-on approach.

Computer literate.

Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with safety standards.

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced engineering environment. 

This role is suited for a CNC Operator Setter who is able to operate & set CNC milling machines and wants to join a fast-paced engineering environment. You'll need to be able to read technical engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances and perform quality checks on precision components.

The right candidate will be hands-on, have the experience/knowledge required and want to progress in a forward-thinking company.
