Accounts AssistantBirmingham Salary £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE) Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting our client based in Birmingham with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and broaden your skillset.

Role Requirements -

• Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts for Limited Companies.
• Prepare Corporation Tax computations and CT600 submissions.
• Liaise with clients to obtain required financial information.
• Maintain accurate working papers and documentation.
• Support with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Personal Requirements -

• AAT-qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (qualified accountant desirable but not essential).
• Experience preparing year-end accounts and CT600 returns.
• Familiarity with VT Transaction+ and/or Capium software is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
