Events Sales Executive

SALARY: £27000/annum car & bonus


Brewster Partners are recruiting for a Business Development Manager within Events Sales for a successful and growing business in the area. We're looking for a suitably experiences sales professional to drive their business further forward into new business areas. The role has a company car as its field based - mainly in the South Yorkshire area but spreading out further afield nationally too.


This exciting opportunity involves getting out into the local area and building a network of contacts and potential clients within the corporate B2B market. You'll be responsible for creating business plans and strategies for growth - account managing clients to maximise their accounts and also researching and targeting new markets and attending networking events, representing the company and delivering the highest standard of customer service at all times. Areas of responsibility include:

Driving sales by developing strong relationships with current and future clients
Ensuring annual sales targets are met
Establishing and implementing strategies for future growth
Putting together an Annual Business Plan including relevant networking and marketing opportunities
Managing financial budgets and targets in order to maximise profitability
Travelling extensively, co-ordinating all sales missions
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
Providing high levels of customer service at all times
Liaising with operating departments to ensure increased levels of product delivery and a good understanding of your market
Ensuring account management is strategic and that the CRM database is kept up to date
Responsible for annual agreements for all clients, maximising opportunities to grow business at all times
Provide regular sales reports for your area as instructed by the Head of BusinessThis is a field sales role targeting new business within corporate B2B markets, exploring opportunities, developing relationships both current and potential, offering a service and product that is exciting and relevant.

Although focused on the Yorkshire area the role does involve extensive travel further afield, this will be weekly if not daily so please do consider this in your application.


To be successful in your application you need:

Substantial account management and/or sales experience in a corporate B2B environment
Successful track record in sales, working to targets
Knowledge of events and corporate hospitality markets preferable
Excellent relationship building and relationship management skills
Experience preparing and delivering high level presentations pitches both B2B and B2C
Strong organisation skills and project management approach
Experience putting together and delivering business plans and working strategically, reporting on sales through detailed analysis THE BENEFITS:
