Hours: 40hrs on a 2 week fixed Roster basis (Alternate weekends)

Harry at Amber Mace is currently sourcing for a fantastic care home in Burgess Hill who are wanting to hire 2x Clinical Lead Nurses to their home, who has strong care home experience.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation who are aligning their homes with their values and seeking positive improvements through the management team. They have an outstanding work setting/environment and provide staff transport from Burgess Hill & Haywards Heath.

The role will be to report directly into the Registered Manager and be responsible for leading and implementing change within your cohort of nurses. The role will be split between hands on care & nursing, as well as staff management and home services.

Requirements:

* Active RGN or RMN Nursing pin - no restrictions.

* Strong Care Home Experience.

* A great ability to lead and mentor staff & Implement change

* Strong communication skills - dealing with staff, residence and families.

* Able to support / be right hand to Registered Manager

* Great CQC knowledge & understanding.

Responsibilities:

* To organise and delegate care and nursing service to ensure top quality care.

* Promote best practice between clinical and non-clinical across the home. Taking a clinical lead position.

* Support Registered Manager in day-to-day running.

* Ensure strict compliance with CQC guidelines in all operations.

* Monitor recruitment process, ensuring adherence to Safe Recruitment guidelines.

* To ensure the involved commitment, motivation and flexibility of staff through effective organisation, leadership and appropriate skill mixes.

* Maintain Health & Safety standards

* Ability to step up for day to day running of the home & Staff, in the absence of the Registered Manager.

* To promote and encourage residents' involvement in discussions and decisions in matters that affect them, maximising their potential for independence where possible.
