A leading Lloyd's broker have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Casualty Claims Technician. The position will be within the busy Property and Casualty claims team and the role is for a mid to senior technical claims handler.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of global Casualty claims and providing assistance to the Casualty Advocate and Head of Specialty P&C as well as colleagues on the team.Applicants should have a extensive Casualty claims experience, preferably in the London Market, with a strong understanding of the legal principles of insurance. Claims will emanate from General Liability (EL/PL), Product Recall, Contingency, A&H and various other associated sources. You should be able to quickly build an understanding of a client's business issues, insurance needs and expectations and use that knowledge in the management of their claims. You will need to have the ability to prepare and interpret claims bordereaux.This will be a hybrid role.
