Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Rolling Stock business, supporting our Inventory Finance function. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager and Cost Accountant to help manage forecasting, reporting, and inventory-related financial processes across our sites in Northampton, Kettering and Goole.

Imagine This (Job duties):

• Support the monthly forecasting process, including proposing reasonable adjustments
• Assist with month-end close (journals, accruals, and provisions)
• Conduct reconciliations between financial systems (SAP) and operational data
• Analyse budget vs actual variances and resolve discrepancies
• Verify and resolve goods receipt/invoice mismatches (GR/IR)
• Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and project support (mainly inventory-related)
• Contribute to digitalisation and finance process improvement initiatives

What You Need to Bring (Experience required):

We’re seeking someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a finance-related role
• Strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Experience working with SAP
• Prior exposure to inventory or warehouse-related finance
• Experience in transport, logistics, or manufacturing sectors
