Peripatetic Manager – 35 Hours | £51,881 + Excellent Benefits
We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager for this role, you'll step into the shoes of an absent Registered Manager but won't hold CQC registration yourself.

We are looking for an experienced care professional to join us as a Peripatetic Manager, supporting our services across England and Wales.
As a national charity, we provide high-quality care and support for people with learning and physical disabilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring our services remain stable, safe and well-led during periods of change.
You will step into services when extra leadership is needed. This could be due to a management gap, supporting a service through a challenging period, or helping to maintain continuity between managers. Your focus will be on ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
This is a flexible role that involves regular travel and working away from home when required. Travel, accommodation and meal costs are fully covered.
Salary and benefits:
- £51,881 per annum (35 hour contract)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 28 with service

The role:
- Provide hands-on management support across our care homes and supported living services
- Step into services to cover management absence or support leadership transitions
- Support services through improvement plans or more challenging periods
- Carry out audits, review care records and ensure compliance with policies
- Identify issues and implement improvements where needed
- Ensure services meet regulatory and commissioning requirements
About you:
- Experience in a leadership role within health and social care, such as Registered Manager, Quality Manager or Service Improvement Manager
- A confident and adaptable leader who can quickly build relationships with teams
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and relevant legislation
- Experience supporting people with learning or physical disabilities is desirable
- Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home as part of the role
This is a 35 hour contract, typically worked Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required depending on service needs.
