Senior Developer

Summer-Browning Associates is currently assisting our Central Government client in seeking a Senior Developer for an initial six-month assignment.

Location: Milton Keynes

Essential Skills: The ideal candidate will hold active SC Clearance and have a proven background in software engineering, demonstrating the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core API development.
• Extensive SQL Server skills, including stored procedures and optimisation.
• Experience designing backend architecture within secure or modern API‑driven environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with clean architecture or domain‑driven design.
• Understanding of API testing and integration testability.
• React, TypeScript, and Javascript highly desired
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies and security best practices.
• Familiarity with secure environments in the public sector or defence is highly advantageous
