Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Senior HR Generalist for a client near Brunswick, GA. This role reports to the Sr. Director of HR and will have a lot of room for growth within the department. This position provides a very competitive compensation package and a relocation package.
The Senior HR Generalist provides human resources services, programs and initiatives for the Jesup, GA Mill to achieve business objectives, improve organizational performance, and build employee value and job satisfaction.
The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for the timely completion of projects and assignments within the department and professional development to prepare him or her to advance to higher level professional or management roles within the HR team. Scope includes staffing and employment, recruiting, employee, labor relations, performance management and diversity programs.
- Bachelor’s degree required. HR or business degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of Human Resources experience in a unionized manufacturing environment required.
- Participation in and/or leading collective bargaining agreement negotiations is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR practices and labor agreement administration. Knowledge and skills in recruiting, selection, employee relations, organizational behavior, and human resources development. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
