Job title: Project Manager

iO are partnered with a specialist engineering organisation who support highly regulated programmes, now looking for a Project Manager to join on a permanent basis.

You would be taking end-to-end responsibility for delivering engineering projects from initiation through to close-out, owning schedule, cost, quality, scope, risk and stakeholder management.

Role requirements

Lead full project lifecycle delivery (scope, execution strategy, delivery plans, governance)
Own budgets/forecasting and support change control / variations
Identify and mitigate risks; escalate issues with clear, solution-led recommendations
Produce key project documentation and progress reporting (internal/external)
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and quality/safety standards (ISO exposure beneficial)
Key skills & experience

Previous project delivery experience within an engineering / technical environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (client-facing)
Commercial awareness (cost control, forecasting, change management)
Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 / PMP) desirable, not essential
Regulated industry experience beneficial (training/support available)
