* Proven experience in a similar role within a chilled warehouse environment.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and effectively manage a team.

* Solid understanding of people management practices.

* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

* Flexibility to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all agency warehouse operations during the day or night shift.

* Foster effective collaboration between Pertemps staff and client teams.

* Ensure all agency staff consistently wear the correct Health & Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

* Lead and support warehouse staff to maintain high levels of productivity and performance.

* Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

* Organise and conduct monthly staff engagement sessions ('surgeries') to address issues, gather feedback, and provide support.

* Coordinate and assist with recruitment and induction days
