We are currently seeking a creative individual to join our community of Primary schools in Milton Keynes, providing support to children with SEN needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be bringing a wealth of transferable skills to the table, including proficiency in role-playing.
SEN Needs: Autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome and Moderate Learning Difficulties
Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, reinforcing targets, offering supervision and support as needed, and maintaining consistent routines for the children. A calm and positive demeanor is essential, as is a proactive approach to building relationships with the children.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 support to children with special needs and lower ability levels.
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other Specific Learning Difficulties.
- Assisting in managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive learning experiences.
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Working closely with teachers to ensure the learning needs of each child are met effectively.

- Graduates or those with transferrable skills in areas like childcare, psychology, or social care are encouraged to apply.
- You should have the energy, patience, and dedication to support children with complex needs, including Autism and ADHD.
