Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Birmingham & Midlands (Field-Based)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Call-Out

Alecto Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing HVAC specialist seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their Midlands-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied role covering installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding.

You will be covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas, working across a mix of commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, service, and maintenance of air conditioning systems
Fault diagnosis and reactive repairs
Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Working on split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems
Completing service reports and compliance documentation
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards
Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with clients on-siteRequirements

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
F-Gas Category 1 (essential)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (desirable)
Strong electrical and fault-finding knowledge
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and represent the business professionallyWhat's on Offer
